Insurance
Dr. Miles is in-network with most major insurance providers. The best way to determine if services are in-network with your insurance is to call the customer service and/or mental health services phone number on the back of the insurance card. Verify if the provider is in-network and what the mental health benefits are for your specific plan.
Rachel is out-of-network only. Claims can be submitted to insurance which will be applied toward out-of-network benefits. Practicum students are out-of-pocket only.

Employee Assistance Plans (EAP)
Many employers offer EAP benefits in addition to traditional insurance. EAPs benefits are free for the employee or family member and short-term, usually authorized for a set number of visits during a specified time frame. There are some additional rules, such as EAP don’t usually cover testing or anything that may be court-ordered. To use your EAP benefits, first contact the EAP company and get approval and an authorization number, if applicable, which you will bring to your first appointment.

Couples or Family Therapy
Traditionally insurance doesn’t cover services focused on couples’ issues so it is an uncovered cost. If a family member or partner is attending therapy in conjunction with you as part of your sessions, the visits can be sent to insurance.
